#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Heat Embossing the Breathtaking Bouquet with Thank You Dies
Talk about packing some punch!
I wanted to use the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp set for today’s card, but I wasn’t in the mood for lots of colouring. I wanted to make a statement with some heat embossing, so I used the darkest blue cardstock I have, Night of Navy, and used silver embossing powder on it.
I’m not sure that you really need a lot more, but I did take inspiration from the catalogue and die cut the Thank You words using the dies of the same name that are in the Annual Catalogue.
I did however back the words with more Night Of Navy cardstock – they were a little lost when I put them directly over the stamped image at first. Good job I hadn’t added any glue at that point!
I love how eye catching this card is, and it would definitely stand out on a mantlepiece!
