#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Morning Star is soft Subtles colours
If you have missed this card on page 21 of the Mini Catalogue, go and take a look now.
It’s such a beautiful set and though I’m not particularly known for my gardening talents, these flowers were very familiar to me, though I recall them as being those huge white flowers across unkempt hedges all over the UK (Google tells me that the weed is called Bindweed, and even though it chokes other plants it’s very pretty!)
But google also showed me a very pretty Morning Star Lily which I guess this stamp set is inspired by.
Either way, the flowers are lovely and the stars are fabulous. I love them!
I wanted a soft pastel palette for my card, so my colours are only from the Subtles collection – Soft Sea Foam, Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue, Pool Party and Highland Heather.
I think they work quite well together!
And of course, adding the Stitched Star Dies into the mix to but the stars is brilliant! I love it when SU pairs our new stuff with our core lines!
