Well, as the title would tell you, today is my birthday!

I have no idea what we are doing today, Chris happens to be day off today so we will likely go out for lunch and perhaps some sight seeing, and I’m sure my parents will come over and join us and the children for dinner this evening.

I may do a little crafting, but more likely I will save that for tomorrow!

But I did want to share a project that I made for myself. It sits in my kitchen on my tiered tray along with other pretty pieces that I’ve been collecting there.

And if you’ve followed me for some time, you’ll know that I always make a wreath at Christmas time, but my very first one was a butterfly wreath during SpringWatch in my early years.

Do watch the video though because I bring in an old old wreath project from Valentine’s Day one past year…!

But of course, being me, it had to be a rainbow wreath, so I put a trio of butterflies in some of my favourite rainbow colours using the Butterfly Gala stamp set and Butterfly Duet Punch.

I love how it looks, particularly with the lights on it. In the evening when we just have low lights on in the kitchen, it looks lovely!
