OK, I have no idea what a toucan has to do with birthdays, but I absolutely love him!

He’s so adorable and I love him on this card against a black background.

I almost did the stamping in a yellow or orange to match his beak, but I had a change of mind at the last minute and went with Bermuda Bay instead. I think I made the right call there and adding in some matching ribbon just pulled it all together.

Have to confess, wish I’d stamped the toucan a teeny bit more upright, but he’s having a good time….!

I pulled in some of the Noble Peacock Rhinestones in the darker blue to finish it off, and this is a remarkably simple card, but that jet black toucan with his bright beak (I coloured it with my Stampin’ Write Markers) is striking.
