#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Easy Tulip Pot Card with Timeless Tulips and the Tulip Builder Punch
Well we are on the final day of Sale a Bration today and the card I have, while not showing sale a bration items, it will collect you together some products that would earn you a free item.
I have a separate blog post for the Sale a Bration end, so this post is just about this card.
It’s a charming pot of tulips, about the only flower I can successfully grow in my garden, and I used only Subtles inks for the tulips themselves. So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Balmy Blue and Highland Heather, and then I stamped a second time with Highland Heather to get a purple posyesque shade.
They’re so easy to make, simply stamp and then punch with the tulip builder punch. Delightful!
The pot is easy too, I cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock 3 inches on the top and 2 inches across the bottom, and then a small panel of 3 x 1″ (that’s 7.5cm and 5cm for the pot and then 7.5 x 2.5cm for the panel).
I sponged the edges to get the definition around the pot, and it works!
Finishing with a panel across the front with the Happy Easter sentiment from the same stamp set, I love how this came out.
Perfect for Easter, but a swap of the sentiment and you’ve got a card for all seasons!
