#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Galaxy Slider Pouch and a funny story…
So let me tell you a story…
Like pretty much every nation on the planet, we are currently on lockdown at home. It’s been fun and games juggling my work and home life, but you know, it’s amazing how you adapt when you stop and take a moment to consider all those on the frontline who are working up close and personal with this virus.
So in doing our part, we are not going out at all, not even for a jar of coffee… so when Chris realised he had run out of his nescafe original (I’m a nespresso pod girl), I said there was no way he was going out just for that, and that he would have to make do with my pods. But then I remembered my inspiration drawers and that a few years ago, I created a customer gift pouch that included a coffee stick and some sticks of sugar and I knew I had some left over.
Well I rummaged through that drawer, found him loads of coffee sticks, and then discovered they were best before 2017. Thankfully that’s ‘best before’ not ‘use by’ so he has used them and enjoyed them.
But it was while rummaging I came across some galaxy single serve pouches and decided that they would make a great project. Of course, small children asked if they could have a hot chocolate after my discovery and lovely Mum that I am, let them. However, it left me with just one left. Oops!
Oh well, it’s nice to have a story behind a project, don’t you think?
It’s an easy one to make, you just need paper that will wrap around your single serve drink, whether it’s chocolate or coffee, and something pretty to decorate it with.
I enjoyed using the Path of Petals stamp and Pressed Petals paper, and this would be a great gift to pop in the post to someone.
Have a super day everyone.

I have a little lace top flower pot from ikea with my inspiration bits too. Also my hubby collected some of those single serving coffee sachets from hotels so I can take my decaf to friends houses with me. They have come in handy a few times. I had a Cadbury chocolate serving like your galaxy and my eldest saw it and was pleading to try it… so of course I said yes, mum’s of boys!
