#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Blackberry Bliss & Highland Heather Very Versailles
I’m not very good at the whole shabby chic thing. I adore seeing it, I just can’t do it!!!
But I do love that the Very Versailles stamp set gives me a chance to have a bit of a bash, even if I don’t get the elegant vintage French look each time, but that’s ok. Crafting is about experimenting and having fun and that’s what I had when I made this card.
I will confess though, I spent way longer pondering a sentiment, for the bottom of the white panel, than was necessary. I don’t think it needs it, but there is room to add a panel or banner perhaps. I just rather like it as it is with the Blackberry Bliss vines dominating the card, but reflected in the back with the tone on tone of the Highland Heather ink on card.
All in all, it’s not shabby chic, but it’s still lovely I think!
