#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolour Card Tutorial using Many Layered Blossoms Dies
You know, it’s been hard at times with lockdown and 4 children at home – juggling my work around not just Chris’s shifts (he’s either very here and under my feet, or very not here and sleeping between shifts), but add in homeschooling and keeping the smallies entertained, along with trying to find time to film and craft and do my job, well, it’s had it’s moments.
But our family philosophy is Safe At Home, not Stuck at home… so we are making the best of things, and that means that sometimes, small boys wander into my office and get involved in crafting with me.
I shared a card that Oliver and I had made a few weeks ago, and this was another that we did, using the same bundle.
I showed him how to sploosh reinkers onto dampened watercolour paper and then do die cutting. I will say, we perhaps didn’t leave the paper to dry quite enough, hence why during the video, I show the technique on one sheet of watercolour paper, but die cut another one that I prepared beforehand.
However, I love the look and the technique, and yes, my Wink of Stella was completely empty… Oh well, an excuse to pop another order in!
Have a great day everyone!
Sam (and Oliver, of course!)
