#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – In Good Taste Suite Showcase
I love layering stamps over themselves and this stamp set, Tasteful Touches, is ideal for this.
Of course, you have to make sure to get your layers in the right order so that you’re not messing up the colour (see the smoky slate versus soft sea foam mess up…), but if you’re coming in with a darker colour, like the merry merlot, then make sure that one goes down last.
And because I used my Wink of Stella to blend and bleed the colours, it neutralised the paler shades below it. It’s a clever technique, but as I said, make sure your colours are the right way up!!!
I felt the bottom of the card was a little bare, so I grabbed some of the silver/blue twine from the Flowers For Every Season bundle and twisted it across the lower part. It works!
Have a great day everyone!
I hope you enjoyed this project, I absolutely adore what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and more.
