#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Walk in the Woods with Watercolour Pencils
You may or may not know this, but I have hedgehog visitors to my garden every evening. And of course, being British, these are the European wild hedgehogs and they look just like this photograph. So I’m hugely grateful that Stampin’ Up! has included something perfect just for us.
What you may also not know is that I have a lot of fairy lights around my garden hung in strands, around our shed, in pots etc. And I have a trio of illuminated toadstools that sit at the base of a tree and it’s right in the path of the hedgehogs who go hunting for grubs each night!
So with all of that new information, you now know exactly why I’ve created this card, and if I could get any decent footage of the noisy little things, then I’d be sharing it with you, but my camera and phone aren’t so keen on the lighting at night, so this is from Summer last year when we had 2 hedgehogs doing a little, ahem, mating dance in my garden!
Anyway, have a fabulous day everyone, and do take another look at this stamp set. It’s beautiful when coloured with watercolour pencils and a little detailing on the toadstools with a white chalk marker. Light feathery touches and in straight lines, and you get a great finish

Love your card! Your video shows how big their eyes are! What colors did you use on your hedgehog? Well done!
Love the card Sam, but also adore the video. When we lived in Berkshire we also had Hedgehogs coming into our garden as we had a pond with a bit of a waterfall and they used to get a drink from there – it was fabulous to watch – we loved them dearly, but where we live now we have not seen one. Very strange, but I wonder if the seagulls scare them away? You are a very lucky family.
