It’s Wreath Day today!

Every year I make a wreath as part of my Advent Countdown series and this year, I pulled out the stunning So Many Snowflakes dies and a whole host of cardstock colours, some foil, glimmer paper and velveteen paper too.

I love putting wreaths together, particularly when adding in some battery operated tiny fairy lights, and this year is not different!

My colours are as follows – Purple Posy Cardstock, Pool Party Cardstock, Balmy Blue Cardstock, Silver Foil, Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper, Highland Heather Velveteen Paper.

And I just mixed and matched to get them to layer up and then using glue dots, I stuck them down.

I use mini glue dots for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they are definitely strong enough to last a season, but it does mean that I can reposition if I’m not happy with the layout, but also, at the end of the season, I can easily remove the decorations to use again.

This wreath was last seen in March for my birthday, and it had rainbow butterflies all over it!
