#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Beautiful Easy Lidded Box For Men using World of Good
I have one more birthday in my family before Christmas comes along, and that’s my Dad’s birthday towards the end of next month.
So I wanted to make a beautiful gift box that would work well for a man in particular, though of course, you can switch up the paper and decoration, and make it exactly right for the recipient, whether man or woman or child!
As you know, the World of Good suite has really captured my heart this year, and I’ve lost count of how many projects I have made with it.
It really does lend itself well to the more ‘rugged’ look on a box or package and it’s kind of grungy too.
This box is easy to make, like all of my projects, and I hope you like it too!

Could you make a box like this with a hole in the top – to disguise a paper hanky box with Waitrose printed all over it!
Actually. Just a lid would do. xx
Great box I have my grandson’s 21st birthday coming up so that’s given me a lovely box to put something in thank-you XX
Love the paper you used and the way you decorated the top. This box is perfect for so many things. You are so creative.
Love this! What do you mean by “adjusted 1”?”
Hi Patti, if you watch the video, I share a technique to get the perfect lid closure, and although I’m scoring at 1″, I ‘adjust’ the placement of the cardstock/paper to get that perfect fit
