#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Easy Cubed Box Tutorial using Everything Essential and Tartan Paper
Imagine a little pile of boxes on the table by your front door. Ready to grab and take out with you when you go visiting friends. Or perhaps a pile of them as a decor piece on a shelf or your mantlepiece.
And yes, these are a good size at 2″ (5cm) cubed, for holding little gifts and treats, even hanging on the Christmas Tree perhaps?
My house turns into a bit of a winter wonderland at Christmas time, with trees in 4 of our downstairs rooms, and crockery/napkins/ornaments etc that come out only when the trees go up.
I love to decorate in unusual places too, my downstairs toilet has a couple of tiny glittery trees in it, and there are always little nooks and crannies to add another decoration or two.
So while this could be a gift box, it could be a decor item too.
Gorgeous Plaid Tidings paper, some stamping and punching with the Everything Essential bundle, and it’s a great little piece.
Now, who else decorates their downstairs loo at Christmastime…?

Yes yes I do always , love the box
Lovely little box.
Like the tartan dsp too.
Love that you ‘forgetting’ gave us another option to close the top. I shall be using your great idea to put a stack by front door – great to share with others. Thank you
Loving the little box Sam and thank you for sharing your Christmas traditions, I thought I was the only one obsessed with filling every nook and cranny with any decoration. I too love the magic and I think we all need a bit of Christmas magic this year.
Happy crafting everyone let’s make Christmas this year one to remember for the right reasons and have lots of fun. Xx
My Toilet gets dressed as a snowman! Love the little box, going to get some of that tartan DSP x
Thank you very much for this little box, it is lovely 🙂
Just one thing to point out, I believe the scoring measurements in cm for the short side are just a bit off, and should be 4-9-11.5 (though the 5-9-11.5 also results in a cute little box, albeit a bit shorter).
You inspired me to craft again (just made 4 of these boxes, Halloween themed, for my little siblings), and I’m so glad you did;
Only problem now is that I want to order as much DSP, stamps etc. as I can. xD
