#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Carol’s Poinsettia Card Bag!
I often get asked about a particular size project for a specific gift, and in most cases, I’ve already created the perfect shaped project, but when Carol got in touch recently and asked if I had made the card envelope bag that is shown in the seasonal mini on page 14, well, I knew I had to make one.
I have made other flat paper bags before, but I can’t recall ever making one for a card before.
So challenge accepted!
I’m rather happy with how it came out and I will definitely make them again.
So Carol, thank you for the request and the resulting tutorial here for everyone to enjoy!

What a gorgeous project! So glad that Carol asked you about making this lovely envelope/bag. I love watching you work and tell us all about how you do things. Thanks so much for sharing.
Greetings from NZ. Just watched your fantastic tutorial & want to share a tip to you & all your viewers which was also suggested to me (can’t believe I hadn’t thought of this myself).
To avoid trying to work out the puzzle each time you try to align the poinsettia dies up, once you get them in the right position, place a X mark, with a permanent marker, on the flat edge of the 2 dies (same for remaining poinsettias) so that next time it is just a simple task of aligning the X marks. Sooo much quicker.
