#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Snowman Season Customer Thank You Cards
So, I have a bit of a funny story for you today.
I spend all month making my thank you cards, and with all this die cutting going on, you can see why it takes so long!
Anyway, I make a reasonably educated guess as to how many I will need and work to that. Usually (ha!) as the month goes on, I take a little time and just check that I have enough, but for some reason, I didn’t this month, and totally didn’t take into account a huge sale on the 24th and 25th which brought in lots of you ordering, but also a dozen or so new people shopping with me.
So as I was preparing them on the 1st, I suddenly realised I was short by 20 cards (yes, 20!) whereas I will often have 2 or 3 spares.
Cue me frantically hunting for the stamp set I had used, to create 20 more cards, but for love nor money, I couldn’t find it, and still can’t now.
And this is me, with the obsessively tidy office!
I genuinely have no idea where the stamp set has gone, I cannot imagine any of my children have taken it, they would just stamp here in my office, but it left me worrying about what to do.
And so I reached for my box of cards that have been on my blog, and I chose to add 20 of those to this month’s goodie packs.
So there will be a handful of you who haven’t received this card, you’ll have received one that has been published here, or you may even have one that hasn’t yet made it to ‘air’ yet, or even (squeeee) got yourself a sneak peek card of a brand new product!
So I got there in the end, but I still love this card, and when I find that stamp set, I will remember all those hours of die cutting, colouring and wink of stellaing (it’s a word…) with smiles on my face. But Tuesday, I was going frantic searching everyone. I must have looked quite strange!
Have a wonderful day everyone!
S x

Lovely card Sam- are you going to do a short tutorial x
As I used to tell my mother when she couldn’t find something, “It’s right where you left it”..
Now some 30 years later, “I do the same thing”, and remind myself “It’s right where I left it”….. sooner or later I do find it. You will too.
I still can’t find it, and I’m trying to clear my shelves of retired and carry over sets!!!
Yes Sam it is sssssooooo frustrating when you know it’s there somewhere. I usually find it stuck to something that I have lift a dozen times in my search. I sit down and have a big laugh when I find it. I hope you do to.
