#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Adorably Cute Gnome For The Holidays Card
I may not totally understand the Gnome thing at Christmas and as a Brit, I wouldn’t say for the ‘holidays’ as a greeting, but I really do love that the international divide of a common language doesn’t stop me from creating lovely things that appeal to many.
The gnomes are definitely a trend right now, my instagram feed is full of them, not just out of America, but also with a few British folk too. And yeah, I could get on board with them. I just can’t help thing ‘garden gnome’ when I see gnomes and can’t not think of the Gnomeo & Juliet animated movies!
But I like to embrace all things fun and quirky and that’s why I’ve got gnomes for you today.
It’s a really quick card to put together, the paper is doing all the talking, and nope, not a Christmas Paper in sight! I just used our colour collection paper!
So a change out of the greeting and perhaps a less festive gnome, and this could be a cute card for any time of year for a gardener? Or perhaps someone who collects gnomes?
I don’t have specific measurements for you for the card, the tutorial does that for you because there actually aren’t any hard and fast rules for this type of card.
Now, what other overseas trends can I embrace?
