#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Softly Blended Ink on a Peony Floral Card
Gorgeous Grape is such a beautiful colour and I wanted it to be the focal point of my sentiment-free card today.
Sometimes you just need to make a card for no reason other than to send one to someone you’re thinking of, so I felt that a big flower on the front of floral paper was just the right type.
I stamped first in Gorgeous Grape ink and then used my Wink of Stella to bleed out the colour and soften it, and of add a little glitter too.
The Prized Peony stamp set has a couple of big images and the coordinating dies, and the paper that is part of the suite is just stunning.
I chose a Basic Grey coloured paper to work as the perfect neutral shade to work with it.
And yes, that’s Gray Granite as a ribbon, but the colour is close enough to work well.
