#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Snail Mail! Rectangular Lidded Box Tutorial
I am totally in love with the Snail Mail suite.
The paper, the stamps, the dies, the all of it!
I’m doing my best to vary my projects, but I could easily do loads and loads of projects with it!
I went with a Lidded Box today so that I could have my little snail and that adorable envelope on top.
Many many years ago when I was first crafting, there was a company that sold mini paper envelopes of this sort of size, and they were a lot of money for a dozen of them. So it’s nice that I can cut as many as I want now!
The paper is just adorable and all those fun snails! So much fun.
It’s a great project to make and show off the images.

- Cardstock BASE – 8 x 11″ (20 x 28cm)

- Paper – 4 x 7″ (10 x 17.5cm)
- Score at 1″ (2.5cm) on all sides
I hope you enjoyed this project, I absolutely adore what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and more.

So cute! I am awaiting my order so i shall try this unusual box. I am thinking some Yankee candle votives wrapped in tissue paper perhaps…
Hi Sam,
The measurements for the lid is wrong, its meant to be 4 inches by 7inches !
Oops all fixed!
Thank you for sharing such a cute project.
Me and the stamp & seal, do not play well together either.
