#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – True Love Blending Brushes Card with Always Dies
Simple, stylish, soft and impactful.
When I made this card, I put it to one side on a pile of others, waiting to take a photograph of it for here.
Jack nipped in to the office and he spotted it straight away and loved the effect of it and asked how I had created it and wanted to experiment himself.
His card is to come later this month, but it was his reaction that has prompted me to start this blog post with my statement abovc!
It was so easy to create, I used Highland Heather on one corner, Blushing Bride on the opposite, with Balmy Blue on the other 2 corners.
The Blending Brushes make this effect so very easy and though there was a paler patch in the middle, covering it with the die cut Always from the die set of the same name, well that neutralised too much white!
The backing of the word was on white cardstock, but it too bright, so I just ran my blending brush over it with a tiny bit of the balmy blue that was left on it, and it knocked off the starkness of it
It did feel a little bare, hence the glittered organdy ribbon across the middle, but I don’t know that it needs anything else at all.
I love it!
