How pretty and simple are these cards?

I let Jack take the lead on these cards and their design, but little did we know (or rather, consider) just how long it would take to die cut 150+ tiny little envelopes!

The best laid plans and all that…

The inspiration for these came from a mixture of colour groups and then some splooshes, but with the addition of the die cut envelope as well as the stamped ones.

I love how they came out, despite the long time to cut and make, but so worth it!

We used My Meadow and Waterfront for those splooshes across the back, with Magenta Madness, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue as the colours.

And the little envelopes? They are from Kangaroo and Company!

Finally, we added a sentiment from the free Punch Party stamp set that is part of Sale a Bration.

You can tell Jack had influence here, it’s rare that I use 2 stamp sets let alone 4, but it’s nice to allow him the opportunity to design cards. We are hoping this may go someway as credit for his A-Levels!
