#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – A Night Sky Nature’s Beauty Winter Card Idea
When I first designed this card (in my head!) I was planning and envisioning a dark blue night sky with the bunny in the foreground and silhouetted trees.
But, when you bring in the blue inks with the Blending Brushes and then introduce Rich Razzleberry, you end up with a more northern lights effect!
I do love it, but it sort of took it from night sky to wintery sky… Particularly when you flick Wink of Stella across it too….!!
But I decided to run with it, partly because it’s a pretty card, but also because so many of you are very organised and already making your Christmas cards – so here’s another idea for you!
I love the effect, I will try it again with other colours to get it to be a bit more ‘true’ to the northern lights, but I hope you have a play too with Blending Brushes. They’re so much fun!

Gorgeous card! Nature’s Beauty is so under rated and yet it is stunning for simple cards. Love this and will add it to my must try list! Thanks for inspiring me @sanzstamps 🙂
hi Sam, awesome card, but could we see your video in the making of it, otherwise, we can only appreciate it and not be able to recreate it..
thanks Patricia
Oh, you did NOT just say the C word! Give me until July, please. Lol. Just kidding. Beautiful card. I’ll save to “Christmas” board and revisit in July. Thanks for all you do.
Wow what an amazing card! I love that stamp set to bits, but I only used it for Christmas Cards so far.
Great alternative, I will definitely try – though going for a different card base.
Greetings,
