#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Welcoming Woods Sneak Peek Simple Card Idea
We have this lovely soft gentle stamp set coming up in the new Mini Catalogue, Welcoming Woods.
It really caught my eye, I think because of the detail on the tree trunks (silver birch perhaps?) and I loved the sample in the catalogue too with those gorgeous almost Northern Lights colours.
Taking inspiration from the catalogue is something I definitely like to do, but I switched out my colours and mixed in night of navy, misty moonlight and a touch of pacific point. All using the Blender Brushes.
Then it was Stazon for the trees themselves.
Finally, I flicked some Wink of Stella across it for a sort of snowy look, which I think I captured fairly well!
Such a lovely simple card, I hope you like it and that you add Welcoming Woods to your shopping list too.

Very pretty. I live in Colorado and this reminds me of the forest around me.
