Jacob’s Customer Thank You Cards! – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

You will need

• Words of Cheer Stamp Set
• Stamparatus
• Note Cards and Envelopes
• Black Ink
• Red and Green Ink
• Rhinestones

I adore working with my children in my office. They make wonderful memories, and pretty much since the moment I joined Stampin’ Up! one or some or even all of them have helped out.

Regularly the boys help me pack all the customer thank you goodie packs that I send out each month. And on occasion, they will help out with putting together the cards that I make.

We had the half term school holidays here the last week of the month, and Jacob (13) asked to help out. Well, I asked him if he was confident enough to have a go at the main stamping on his own, and he was!

We did make use of the Stamparatus so he got perfect alignment for the main image and the words.

And I made it a simpler card for him – so no layers or cutting etc. Just stamping!

I like this stamp set, particularly as the sample in the catalogue shows the sort of ‘misaligned’ stamping of the flowers and holly leaves. Ideal for a smaller person to do, or one who would perhaps worry too much about getting things lined up.

So I’m proudly showing you a card that a 13 year old can make. He actually made dozens and dozens and dozens of these for me to send out, and I couldn’t be more proud of him.

I hope you like them too, and if you have younger people that you craft with, this is a great one to try with them.
