You Will Need
- Lovely and Lasting Stamp Set
- Lasting Label Punch
- Soft Succulent Cardstock
- Soft Succulent Ink
- Soft Succulent Shimmer Ribbon
- Shaded Spruce Ink
- Simply Scored Scoring Tool
- Tear and Tape
Time To Make – 15 Minutes
I love to make hand stamped gift boxes and this one here is designed to fit around that beautiful flower from the Lovely & Lasting bundle that has gorgeous stamps and a fantastic punch too.
My original box was made using Blushing Bride with Melon Mambo Ink, but the new one has Soft Succulent as the base, and then Shaded Spruce over the top.
But whenever you’re making a hand stamped box like this, choose toning pastel and deep shades, or white as your base. No good using 2 pastels or 2 dark shades!
But I love how this came out, it’s so very pretty, even when you tie it all up and find out it’s backwards. Oops!
Anyway, I hope you like it!

Very. Nice sound and lighting perfect X
Sam, I’m sorry you are getting so much criticism, it could very well be there own equipment that is hindering them. I hear and see you just fine and I’m in America. It seems everyone is a critic these days. Keep doing what you’re doing, your work is lovely.
I agree with Susan, there were some issues with sound earlier, but those seem to be all fixed and you explained that some time ago, so things are good now. I’m also in America and it seems all good to me! Lovely boxes.
Hi Sam
I agree with Susan and Polly. I have been watching your posts, either the ones I get in my email or when I go to utube and have never experienced had any kind problem with sound or seeing you. I am in Canada. Keep doing what you are doing, it is always a pleasure to watch you and get a glimpse at one of your cats.
Yes, I agree with Susan and Polly, everything is just perfect. I am in America too.
I appreciate all you do and you do an excellent job. Forget the uglies,
you are the best.
Cute box. I follow you for all your different boxes and containers. And I love your family news and your sweet accent. I live all the way in USA, South East Texas (to be exact) and your voice and the sound is ALWAYS SPOT-ON. Naysayers are unwelcome. Have a lovely day! Hugs from Texas.
Sam,
I watch from across the pond, in Arizona USA, and your lighting and audio have never been a problem when I’ve watched. I’ve been following your for at least 6 years, never a problem on my end, even when YOU said you had an issue with things looking pink-ish
Christine
I also have no complaints re: sound, light, etc. I appreciate that you, and other demonstrators, go to great lengths to provide the best possible videos – getting new equipment, rearranging your work space, window treatments, etc. etc. All so I can look clever and make outstanding cards and favors for my friends — and I can’t even support you, since I live in Hawaii!! I respect that you juggle family and your business, but please keep putting family first. I can be patient and wait my turn.
Well, I just saw this video for the first time and, as usual, another delightful project from Sam (and her cat , love it!)
I wanted to say that I have been watching your videos for years on my museum old iPad and both audio and lighting are perfect. It occurs to me that the problem some people have with both may be in their own devices.
In any case, Sam please continue. You are inspiring and I love your comments about family, pets and little things in life we all share.
Saludos from Perth, Australia (Yvonne)
I have been watching Sam’s videos from her emails for years and also on utube when I want to refer back to a specific project she has done.
I can tell you very honestly that I have never had any problem with sound or picture on any of the videos. I normally watch the videos on my iPad Pro but can use my old iPhone. I will admit I can have some problem with the audio when my sound is NOT turned on. LOL I live in Canada.
Keep up the great work Sam. It is always a pleasure to get your emails.
I agree. Couldn’t have said it better.
Keep up the good work, love the videos and stories.
