Simple Scatter Card using Sweet Gingerbread – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles
Have you ever made a ‘scatter card’? This is my name for cards that have randomly scattered small images all over them. I love them because you’re using small icons and images to fill a larger space.
It doesn’t have to be festive themed (I had planned flowers originally!), it can be anything. But I guess the key to it is in using small images.
Like those darling little gingerbread men! Aren’t they so sweet? Pun totally intended, but anything like those and the snowflakes, hearts etc.
You just grab whichever colours you want, doesn’t need to even be the ‘right’ colours. And then scatter!
I try to work in odd numbers of 3 or 5 for the larger or most dominant shapes/colours, but you really can’t go wrong with the principle of a scatter card!
So, will you make some?
