How To Make Cash Stuffing Envelopes for Binders – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

Happy Monday!

If you saw my mini series last week on cash stuffing, and cash stuffing envelopes, plus holders/boxes, then you will know that I have one additional project for you today.

It’s along the same theme, but rather than the mini envelopes, it’s a ‘full size’ one. I say full size, it’s the size that most folk are using for their cash stuffing on a weekly/monthly basis, as opposed to a savings challenge.

My lovely friend Kaye, of PaperCraftSkies  who is always my room buddy when we do events, got me into cash stuffing again last year (it was something I sort of did forever ago when all my boys were very small), and she kindly made me a set of 6 wallets for our savings.

We were chatting about cash stuffing in general and how there aren’t many ‘pretty’ wallets, and so I decided to create some for you.

I used the wallets she had given me, and they are quite standard size, and built from there.

I like how pretty these are, and yes, I did do my research on cash stuffing envelopes on youtube, and the only ones I could find required a laminator too. I suspect for ‘sturdiness’ if you’re really loading up your wallets. But I feel these would suffice. In theory, you’re only going in to them 12 times, once a month. Perhaps 52 times at the most if you stuff on a weekly basis. I don’t, and I’m not sure how many would, but I think they’d stand the test of time.

Plus, when you need to use the contents of the wallet to shop or make purchases, then it’s quite attractive to slip into your bag, and isn’t see through where the world can see what’s in it!

Since filming, I’ve discovered that the hole punch I’ve had for maybe 8 years, is actually adjustable…. Seriously? I bought it years ago when I used to create my own diary pages, and had never noticed it can adjust to all standard sizes of planners… Every day is a school day! This is the one I have

Anyway, I hope you like these, and if you do cash stuffing, let me know!

  • Paper – 8 x 9″ (20 x 22cm)
  • Score on the LONG side at 4, 8″ (10, 20cm)
  • Score on the SHORT side at 0.5, 7.5″ (1, 19cm)

I hope you enjoyed this project, I absolutely adore what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and more.
