DIY Tutorial How to Make a Fancy Fold Birthday Card – Oliver’s 12th Birthday – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles
I have so much fun in my office each month, crafting with my son Oliver, and as today is his 12th birthday (and yes, it’s a school holiday today too!), I thought it would be perfect to make a card for him, and share it with you too.
I can’t take credit for the design, I had seen one of those insanely fast (like 10x speed) reels on instagram, and fumbled around until I got the jist of it.
Then blow me, the following day, I saw one of my lovely team member’s shorts. Donna Lester (Taffy Crafting) and she had made a similar project, but on a whole other level!
So I pinged her a message and asked for the tutorial, and showed her mine. Well, she has a version of that too!
Her one similar to this one HERE
And the card that is on a whole other level of brilliance! HERE
My directions are similar to Donna’s but I will include Imperial measurements also.
I would always say though, do practice on scrapper card and paper first… particularly with something like this!
Now, I’m off to wish my lovely Oliver a very happy birthday. This goes live at 7am my time, likely, he’s already awake…!
