Watercolour Pencils Tips and Tricks – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

Happy Monday!

I am currently on board the Anthem of the Seas cruise ship on our incentive trip and today is a sailing day! We are heading to the Norwegian Fjords!! Who knows if I have wi-fi or not, but I do hope that this post schedules ok!

Last week, Oliver came into my office to give me a hand with some prep and planning, and we ended up having a bit of a crafting session.

I had commented to him that I wanted to do a watercolour pencil card, and he was saying that as a left-hander, he doesn’t feel confident colouring as he goes outside the lines.

To be honest, so do I, but I decided this was a good opportunity to show him how to use watercolour pencils, and that they’re a great way to ‘cheat’ and make sure you’re always in the lines!

And while we did complete this card together, in the video I’m showing you the tips and techniques I apply when I’m using watercolour pencils.

Oh, and as an aside, Oliver coloured the racoon with balloons, I did the squirrel!

He did a better job than me…..!

But I do hope you find my tips and tricks useful. They work for me, and I’m a messy colourer normally….!
