How To Make A Picnic Basket From Cardstock – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

Happy Monday!

We are in the last full week of July and the Summer Holidays are here!

I love having my boys at home, and so far we have been to the cinema (Elemental, highly recommended!) and some late night shopping with dinner at a pizzeria to finish.

Our plans this week include a day at the shops so that the boys can buy 18th birthday gifts for Luke who’s birthday is a week today! But we also have plans on our list to visit Ferry Meadows (if you’re local to me, you know how beautiful that place is!) and a day out to London, plus some time at a bounce park.

It’s all go here.

Ferry Meadows, image c/o their website!

But Ferry Meadows is our place to go with a picnic, so it felt right to add in my promised Picnic Basket project for you.

We had an online weekend with the team this weekend just gone. 3 zoom sessions over 3 days and there were lots of project shares and ideas from me, and preparing the sample for this project was one of my shares with them. We have further expanded on this design, but I’ll share those another day!

For now, as promised, the very easy Picnic Basket! AKA an Old-Style sewing basket…!

  • Each box finishes at 3 x 3 x 2″ (7.5 x 7.5 x 5cm)

  • Cardstock – 1 x 11″ (2.5 x 27.5cm)
  • DSP – 0.75 x 10.75″ (2 x 27cm)

I hope you enjoyed this project, I absolutely adore what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and more.
