Great Ways To Choose Colours To Work With – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles
I absolutely adore crafting, I think this is known! But I also love to work with unusual colour combinations, but sometimes I forget to remember to do that, and slip into the habits of choosing ink colours that are in the same colour family or group.
But when you’re choosing ink colours, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with a whole pile of cardstock or ink pads on your desk, and you don’t end up choosing anything unusual. Just your usual colours.
So today I wanted to share a simple method for choosing colours. And that’s by using pens.
Yes, pens….!
You can scatter them on your desk and then grab groups of 3 or 4 of them to see which combinations work well. And there’s little overwhelm!
And at the end of the video, I do issue a just-for-fun challenge, so please do watch all the through!
Oh and my combination is Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, Bubble Bath and Berry Burst!
And that adorable stamp set is Bird’s Eye View!
