Backstage, Las Vegas, Gifts and Covid… – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

Happy Monday!

I so wish I had a video tutorial for you today, but unfortunately I have been down with Covid since last Wednesday.

I got back from Las Vegas and Backstage on Tuesday evening, but by the following evening, I was feeling quite poorly, so one covid test later and I’ve been laid up ever since.

It sadly meant I also missed out on my son’s birthday festivities. I stood at the back of the lounge to watch him open his presents, but I was back to bed after that, and I’m still there now.

Sharing these gifts from Stampin’ Up! with you all had been planned for a future video, but I decided to get it filmed for you earlier than expected, and I’m on my laptop with my trio of shadows with me, curled up on the bed!

I had a great time in the USA, I always do, and after a wonderful week exploring LA, Hollywood and Disneyland with my 2 older sons, we flew on to Las Vegas for the backstage event.

We had some fantastic keynote speakers, great demonstrator presenters, and some great topics shared by the corporate team too.

Stampin’ Up! is always generous with us, and it’s the gifts from them that I’m sharing in the video, along with some photos of the event.

I did completely forget to pick up my turquoise blue ‘Love’ T-shirt at the end of the event, but I have added in a photo looking down into the lobby where you’ll see a swathe of blue. That’s a group of demos waiting to go to see the Cirque Du Soleil show that Stampin’ Up! gave us!

I’m hoping to feel better soon, once my temperature is down (it peaked at 102.6f/39.3c) and that I can stand for more than 10 minutes, but if not, I have a huge bag of swaps to share with you all and can bring that planned video forward too!

There is always a back up plan somewhere, right?

Love to you all, and to my fellow demos who also picked up this particularly nasty variant of covid (and it’s not nice at all), love and gentle hugs to you too. I’m unfortunately not the only one.
