Beautiful Lidded Gift Box using Painted Lavender – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

Sometimes it is simple ideas that give a striking result, and I think that this simple stamping, layer over layer, of lavender and greenery has given a very striking appearance to these gift boxes.

About 8 years ago, I did a similar effect on a pair of boxes, and if you watch the video, I share some of the old old colours and the old retired stamp set too!

But today, I have a modernised version with the stunning Painted Lavender and our more recent colours of Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock in the background .

I absolutely adore simple stamping. I don’t get my die cutter out as often as others do, and I like that my projects can show simple can be pretty too.

What do you think?

Do you like this style? Does it take some of the ‘fear’ out of crafting?

I hope it does!

Have a wonderful day everyone.

I love all your boxes and bags, I have made a lot of them through the years. I’m really sorry to hear about Oliver, I can’t imagine how devastating that has been for your family. It’s really sad how people have become, so much meanness in the world. Prayers are with you for your family.

thank you for sharing the beautiful box.
And bless your heart and Oliver. So sorry there are mean and hateful people
in the world. .And to my ignorance I didn’t know that was a problem all over
and not just in the USA.

Keeping you and Oliver in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope a solution to this is found for you all so that he can enjoy his school years safely.

Thanks for the new design, I was just thinking, how can I use my new Painted Lavender in a 3 D project and there you are.

Kind regards to you and your family,

    Donna

This is my all time favorite box that you’ve made. I made it first waaay back when you made it the first time, and when it want a really special box for someone I make this one. So sorry about your son. My oldest was bullied when he was in school and I think it’s just as traumatic for parents! Hang in there – this too shall pass! Debra from Houston, TX
