A Great Simple Birthday Card using Cake Fancy

A Great Simple Birthday Card using Cake Fancy – #1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles

Last week I shared that 2 of our sons have their birthdays in April, and though our eldest doesn’t have his birthday until next week, today he and I are flying off to Mexico for this year’s incentive trip!

He turns 21 during the trip and while that doesn’t really make any changes to a person’s life in the UK (once you’re 18, you’re legal for everything that is, well, legal…!), it is still a milestone to reach!

So that’s why he’s coming with me. Let’s gloss over the fact that I missed that we would also be away over my husband’s 50th birthday and I didn’t invite him. Oops!

Anyway, swiftly moving on to today’s project!

I wanted another simple birthday card, and I know for sure that Jack would love a cake with fruit all on top of it! He and the other boys are all fruit bats and a fruity cake would be a win for sure. But you could pile flowers on top, make  it stacked. Add icing. Whatever you fancy! That’s why it’s called Cake Fancy. make it as fancy as you want!

Wish us a safe and uneventful flight, we are in the air for 10.5 hours….!
