#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – How To Make a Darling Gift Bag for a Yankee Candle Scrapbooking Votive
I’m not sure if there could be a more perfect candle for me, but this one, Afternoon Scrapbooking, is pretty much it.
And though I’m a beginner scrapbooker, I couldn’t resist a craft-themed candle. I mean, what self respecting papercrafter could!
So with that in mind, I bought 3 of them. OK, I bought the other 2 because I loved the fragrances, and Yankee Candle had a great offer on them, but that’s just a good excuse!
And so I decided that today, I’d share the ‘how I design’ from start to finish. Yes, as ever, very slightly chaotic, but that’s just my reality!
And I love real crafting!
Oh and of course, because the look of the candle is very autumnal, and it really does smell like autumn – think outdoorsy, musk and just nice and cozy – I had to use the Sweet Days of Autumn Scrapbook paper. Technically I pulled bits from the full scrapbook workshop kit, but you could absolutely make this darling gift bag from the paper and sticker pack.
So do enjoy the video, and all the measurements are below!
S x
- Paper – 9.5 x 6″ (23 x 15cm)
- Score on the SHORT side at 1-3/4″ (4.5cm)
- Score on the LONG side at 2-1/4, 4-1/2, 6-3/4, 9″ (5.5, 11, 16.5, 22cm)
