#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Chat With Me plus Journal Preparation!

Hello Everyone!

Yes, this is an extra video for you, and it’s a chattier one.

I don’t really have a full and accurate date for my replacement cancelled surgery from last month other than the latest date it will be is 6th of February, but it could be as early as Friday this week or Monday next week, or in a couple of weeks time.

So right now, I’m just filming as much as I can (when my energy allows) to try and make sure that there aren’t any ‘interruptions in broadcasts’ so to speak!

And this wasn’t a ‘planned planned’ video in my usual sense, but I wanted to prepare a post-surgery journal, because one of the things I will need to do is monitor myself while the medical team and I try and get my levels of replacement thyroid hormones correct as I will have to have them artificially for the rest of my life.

I hadn’t thought about a journal or tracker before my previous date, but it came to me over Christmas, and now seemed as good a time as any, particularly as I have the new Mix & Match ephemera packs to play with. And if you know me, you know that I love a quick and simple project, and with the addition of the darling Puffy Stickers, it was just a combination perfect for me!

If you haven’t heard me talk of journaling before, I’m not a ‘deep’ writer or great thinker, mostly I just scribble down something that’s happened that day or I want to remember. And not even every day. But notebooks can suddenly feel huge and intimidating when it’s just a blank page and lines for you to fill, so I find that stickers placed in corners or the side can really take away the overwhelm and I can write a couple of paragraphs and sometimes it even inspires me to write a little more, just to fill a gap.

So I hope this video serves a couple of purposes, 1, to keep you up to date and 2, to inspire you to use your craft supplies in slightly different ways. Oh and 3, to maybe do a spot of journaling too!

good idea to keep a journal of post operation feelings and moods, as they will help you to get the right medication sorted.
I love your use of stickers and ephemera die cuts.
