Sometimes we need a sympathy card, and they’re often the hardest ones to make.

We have the most beautiful stamp set right now, Framed All Around, that has wonderful sentiments in it, and this one works perfectly. It says all that needs saying, but without spelling out the word ‘sympathy’.

So I decided to allow the sentiment all the space it needed and just added scatterings of the matching flowers and leaves around the edges.

I did want to finish them off a little, so I kept it subtle with a gentle wash of wink of stella.

It’s not too glittery, but it just lifts the images a little.

I hope you can appreciate my card, and if you need to make a card to share with someone that you’re thinking of them, then this one is an inspiration for you.
