#1 Stampin’ Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles – Garden Gathering Shimmer Brush Pen Showcase
I am more than a little addicted to the new Shimmer Brush Pens and I have used 3 of them on my card today.
This is the fun Garden Gathering stamp set. It does come with a die set, but I’m only using the stamps here.
First I laid out and stamped the vases, then I added in the flowers and foliage afterwards.
The fun thing about this set is that you add the floral parts after, so you can mix and match your shades of green and your flower colours.
And because I wanted to use the Shimmer Brush Pens, I went with the Barely Blush ink, the Golden Glow and Hydrangea Hue and then added in Garden Green for my stems.
That meant that I could pick out detail on the flowers with the matching Shimmer Pens, but also add to the water to make it sparkle a little!
I know a static photo doesn’t necessarily show it all that clearly, but the sparkle is utterly charming. Just a little twinkle!
