South Hill Designs & Stampin’ Up! Sunday Baby Cards Tutorial

South Hill Designs & Stampin' Up! Sunday Baby Cards Tutorial

Ah it’s too cute!

I have a brand new niece, Emma, and she’s clearly in my mind right now, because although I haven’t yet met her (she lives over 250 miles from me), she’s the first girl in our family, since me!

I wanted to make a pretty card for her, and mixing it with the new charms from South Hill Designs just made sense.

The Something for Baby set with the cute booties is perfect to match up to those charms, and I chose to use a different set for the wording, A Dozen Thoughts. You can see the font on each card is different, but that’s okay!

I mixed up colours with both too – Marina Mist and Soft Sky on the blue boy card with Melon Mambo and Pink Pirouette on the pink girl card.

Scattering pearls makes sense cos they’re cute and prettify anything, whether for boy or girl! And of course, a handmade envelope in matching DSP is a must!

I love them, and hope Angela and Justin do too!

Oh and my sizes are as follows – 8 x 4″ (20 x 10.2cm)

Layer – 3.5 x 3.5″ (9 x 9cm)

Envelope – 6-7/8″ scored and punched initially at 3-1/2″ (17.5cm punched and scored at 8.9cm)

Oh my gosh!! I don’t have any more babies and my daughters are done too but I must have this booties, they are just adorable.
Love to see the 4×4 cards also, they make great gifts in sets of 6 or 8.
    Thank you for sharing, Sam.
    Maria.
