Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Colour Your World Blog Hop August – Watercolour Christmas

QUICK UPDATE!!!

Before I get onto today’s blog post and hop, I’ve just had notification that we’ve had a Clearance Rack Update. A quick look shows me loads of fabulous items, but I doubt they’ll be around long. So go grab a bargain quickly!!

Link is HERE for you. Xx

Happy August Everyone! It’s blog hop time going round the world on a colour challenge. And boy did I get challenged this time around!

I decided to play the irony card here with what is a very summery palette and work it into a Christmas Card.

I’ve always liked to make non-traditional Christmas Cards. I remember when I first started making cards, when my eldest son was a baby, and that year everyone received either purple or pink mirror cards with silver detailing on!

Who says Christmas has to be ‘traditional’ colours. So as a nod to those cards from 14 years ago, I brought in the silver heat embossing to use with the Watercolour Christmas stamp set that comes out in a couple of weeks on September 1st.

Isn’t it gorgeous?

So, I hope you like my watercoloured Christmas card with those fabulous Summer colours!

Pootles’ Picks Shopping Gifts

Everyone who shops with me gets a handmade card and gift in the post. Sometimes the gift is a handcrafted item, sometimes it’s a product share, sometimes it’s something else entirely!

And every person gets that, regardless of how large or small your order is. I am grateful to everyone who shops with me.

I do however also have a Hostess Code and always share the goodies out amongst everyone who uses it. This month, I’m trialling something different.

USE CODE Y6VP29FF

  • Spend over £50/€65 and receive the divine Metallic Edge Ribbon in Silver worth £6.25/€8.50
  • Spend over £100/€135 and receive the utterly beautiful Background Bits stamp set worth £19/€25
  • If you’d still like to use the code and be part of the collective, but your order is under £50, please feel free to use it and I’ll make sure to pop a little something extra in your parcel!
  • If your order is over £150/€200 please do not use the code as you will be your own Hostess and get your own rewards to spend!

We have Christmas in the middle of Summer down here in Australia Sam so this is perfect! I’m always being ribbed for putting snowy images on my cards when the temperature has soared over 100F.
    Thanks for all your inspiration.
