#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Falling Flowers Freestanding Tea Pouch
Happy Wednesday everyone! I’ve got a busy day of filming ahead of me as my boys are all off school from Friday for a week, so I’m working ahead of time, but today’s project is one for when you need a moment of calm. Tea. Well, tea bags actually!
There’s something very British about a cup of tea being the solution to most things, and even those of us who don’t drink it (weird warm wet stuff), we do talk of having a ‘tea break’ during the working day. So I’m taking a tea break and having a coffee during filming and I hope you have a cup of something too while you watch!
And if you’re not a tea drinker, or gifter, you can fit 3×3 cards and envelopes in the pouch instead. yes, that was quite deliberate!
I wanted something you can make in advance and then build up at the time you want to gift them, and this is great for those of you who do craft fayres. Make a batch of these, and take them with you, flattened, and then just pop them up when you put them on your stand, tucking the teabags or cards in as you need. You also don’t need to have all of them on display, but just keep restocking your table as you sell out.
Easy to make, it’s simply tone on tone stamping – I went with Bermuda Bay then Mint Macaron, and used my adored Falling Flowers swirl. I don’t often pair the framelits with it, but I felt this needed a little something extra, so a single die cut flower, faceted gem then ribbon and done.
So quick, so cute and rather stylish I think!

My host will be very happy.
I just made one of the pouch and it was easy peasy to do…I did mine with red for Christmas…
Thanks Sam for the video and the idea….tfs
Such a lovely pouch Sam. I placed my first order through your page and received it today, thank you. x
So sweet.
Oh this is adorable! I’m thinking these would be great for little favors for our Christmas Crop. I have some tiny stamp sets that I picked up at one of the craft stores as well as some blocks for them. I think they would fit in nicely, I may have to adjust it a little for the thickness of the block, but that would be easy enough. Great project and video, thanks!
