Pressed Petals Quick Journal Decoration

#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Pressed Petals Quick Journal Decoration

This journal is so beautiful. The debossed covers – front and back. The wording and images inside. The size! Oh that size is fabulous! So I wanted to do just a little decoration on mine using a few bits from the Pressed Petals suite.

However, not the brightest bulb around, I managed to only order one. Oops. So my first sample is simply laid onto the book to give you an idea. I didn’t want to stick it down and then have to take it off again, and I would likely confuse myself when writing in it, if I’d stuck the decoration front AND back…

But that’s a super simple decoration – I used one of the card-front images from one of the papers (oh, there’s 24 in this pack by the way!), die cut a beautiful shape, a little stamping, and then I used that incredible Petal Washi Tape to create my flower.

simple but stunning, and that book is going to be well used and well loved!

i like the little journal, but its too bad it is pre stamped inside.
if it was plain, one could customize it, which i think i’d like better.

the washi tape is really pretty!
