Simply Stargazing with In Colours

#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Simply Stargazing with In Colours

Hands up who else spotted the Stargazing stamp set and immediately wanted it, but wasn’t completely sure what to make with it, but just had.to.have.it!!

Can’t just have been me. In fact, I know it wasn’t just me.

It’s a stunning stamp set, but actually, not that easy to use. Well, not at first glance anyway! Or more specifically, not on it’s own, at first glance, initially….. (yes I did deliberately go off on a tangent there!)

I’m the kind of crafter who usually uses only one stamp set at a time. My theory being that I want to make a card and get it posted or given, but also, I want to show that you don’t need loads and loads of stuff to make beautiful things.

So each of my cards uses 2 inks, 2 coloured card stocks (white doesn’t count!), ribbon and rhinestones.

That’s all!

Inks and cardstock are a staple, ribbons and rhinestones tend to breed in our craft rooms, so really, all you need is the stamp set and you can make a card like this.

I went for different colours on both – I know you like to see variations, and actually, by showing such unusual pairs, I think you could make this easily with whatever you have in your craft room already. You don’t need to have the in colours (though they’re divine and worth every penny!) you just need ink and card and the stamp set.

Stargazing? Absolutely!
