Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Watercolour Smooshing using Stampin’ Up! Inks
How cool is this card?
I came across some of Kristina Werner’s older videos a while back and spent a happy evening going from to another. One did stand out to me, a sort of smooshing technique she did over a clear embossed image.
I didn’t have the video to hand when I filmed my tutorial, but I’ve since found it, and it’s HERE if you want to check it out (but don’t forget to come back, you can lose yourself for days in her tutorials!)
So she used distress inks with her technique and I decided to have a bash and see if we could do the same with our lovely inks and I’m so happy to share that we can!
A bit like everything I have a go at, when I’m taken with an idea, I’ll run and run with it. And I can see me doing this technique over and over again! I wasn’t quite brave enough to go for lots of colours on mine (yet!) but I actually rather like the 2 colours and how they blend over that lovely First Sight swirl.
So, are you going to have a go too? Your desk does get messy, but this is worth it!
