#1 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pootles – Toile Tidings Large Lidded Box Tutorial
It’s a big old box today! When I started making it, I was planning to make a bag with a ribbon handle, but at the point I was finishing it off, I had a lane-swerve. I really didn’t want to leave such a large bag so very open at the top, and instead, I decided to put a lid on it.
Not hard to do, I was pleased with the finish, though it was fun and games trying to find another large piece of DSP to cut into without breaking into another pack. Irony is, I had to break into another pack for the 2nd version that I filmed!!
I absolutely adore the Toile Tidings suite and I’m actually stocking up on the wrapping paper now for the family’s Christmas gifts!
But I love how the boxes look and the lids have made my day!

So pretty. Can you do a box like this to hold cards and envelopes?
Cards would be the standard size – 5.5x 4.25
Plus the envelopes which are a big larger.
The box could even be a little less wide.
As always I LOVE LOVE your creations.
Blessings,
Susie
You hit it out of the ballpark this time. I absolutely love this. I was not so excited about this paper, but seeing what you did makes me want to order it today1 And that ribbon is gorgeous. Thanks for making my day. P.S. with all those boys at your house, surely one could set up your phone. When ever I need help with my phone or computer, I get my 8 year old grandson to fix it!
Hugs from across the sea.
I absolutely LOVE this box – I didn’t care for the DS paper either (like the other comment) – now it is on my list. Isn’t it funny how we need to see how other people use it – then we like/love it!!!! Thanks so much for sharing.
Now, I know I have to order this suite! I’ve been on the fence about which to buy. I’m limited on what I can buy, and want to make sure I’d use it a lot! This style of Christmas has repeatedly come back in style, as well as you can use the cardinal stamp and die all winter long. I hadn’t noticed the paper yet, but I have now! Thank you so much for sharing! I love them both! But, I’ve never seen you make anything bad!
